At Sahan Nursery we believe that our staff are our most prized asset. All our people are dedicated, caring professionals who we have chosen not only for their knowledge, skills, and experience, but also for their caring and considerate nature.
Our Nursery Team is truly committed to the best possible care for your child. Our staff are dedicated, passionate and take a lot of pride in what they do. We place great importance on staff continuity, with a dedicated team of staff in each room, enabling strong relationships to form, supporting the children’s social and emotional development.
Each team member is carefully selected and has undergone an Enhanced DBS (Disclosures and Barring Services) check. But we feel that there is a lot more to selecting the right person than this important requirement.
We understand that it is essential for you to have complete confidence in the capabilities of the people who will be caring for your child, so we ensure that all team members are qualified. Not only that, but all our staff engage in a continuous training programme so that they deliver the highest levels of nursery care for children of all ages and needs. And for any children with special needs, our Sahan nursery has specially trained and qualified staff.
We’re incredibly proud of the fact that almost all of our childcare staff are qualified. Many staff hold further qualifications including Qualified Teacher Status, Early Years Professional Status and Early Years Teacher Status. Many of our staff are educated to degree level and the nursery actively supports those wishing to further their learning. We offer a structured in-house training programme which includes first aid, child protection, food hygiene and Makaton. We have once
again been awarded the ‘Investors in People’ accreditation.
Our aim is to provide a secure and encouraging atmosphere where your child will feel safe, happy, and motivated, and select only the people who will help to create the most positive environment for your child.

I believe that every child is born with some special learning skills and research has proved that the first 6 years of children’s lives are very significant for their development. Children explore, imagine, observe and react to different experiences in their own special and unique ways.

Our team is well qualified and experienced to support children’s learning and development in a safe, loving and caring environment. We provide children with a wide range of activities and resources for them to explore the best of their skills.

We can make big positive difference in the future of so many lives with our knowledge and enthusiasm.

I am proud to say that Sahan Nursery has the best facilities and some of the most highly trained and skilled staff. I feel fortunate to be part of Sahan Family where we believe working hard together as a team allows us to offer the highest standards of care and education for your child.

I am responsible for the day-to-day management of the nursery and all team members, working closely with parents/carers and all partner organisations to make sure that children’s welfare, development and protection is upheld at all times.
This position is fundamental to the efficient and successful operation of each nursery, managing effective communication and liaison channels ensuring that nursery team members, parents and carers are central to all childcare-related activity.
The Manager is central in creating the right environment where all childcare services, activities and resources are planned and implemented to impact positively on both children’s growth and development. This enables children, parents, carers and the community to participate, inform and shape the development of childcare service and resource developments together.
